Most recently, I worked for the State of Wisconsin as a Probation and Parole Agent for approximately 13 years. As an Agent for the State of Wisconsin, I wrote many pre-sentence investigations providing pertinent and concise information to the court system. In recent years, I worked within the Compas system to write the pre-sentence investigations as well as conducted Compas assessments for the pre- sentence investigations which assess the defendant’s risks and needs. Additionally, I wrote revocation summaries and participated in revocation hearings providing testimony, evidence, and witness testimony for administrative law judges. From 2013 to 2019, I was involved in WIDEC (Wisconsin Alliance for Drug Endangered Children) meetings working on strategies to alleviate the effects of illegal substances on children in our community.
Prior to working for the State of Wisconsin, I served as a Deputy Probation Officer and Senior Probation Officer for the County of San Diego. In addition, I worked in the Health and Human Services Division for the County of San Diego as an Eligibility Technician, Social Worker, and Homeless Family Services Coordinator. With over 25 years of experience in the corrections and social services fields, I am highly proficient with interviewing, report writing, and connecting people
with needed resources.
